Create your street map

A map gift of a church or chapel

A church holds many firsts: a baptism, a wedding, a funeral, a Sunday that became a habit. A street map poster of the church and the streets around it keeps the place on the wall.

Center the map on the building, add its name or a date, and give it as a pastor appreciation gift, a keepsake of the chapel where you married, or a farewell from the congregation.

Street map poster of Beacon Hill, Boston

Choosing the place

Search the town or city of the church, then move the map until the building sits at the center of the poster. Zoom in until the streets around it fill the poster. At close zoom the map also draws the outlines of buildings, so the church shows as a shape among the streets.

For the chapel where a couple married, center on the building and put the wedding date in the caption. For a pastor, show the church and the neighborhood the congregation serves.

If the congregation has moved, choose the building the story belongs to.

A pastor appreciation gift

In the US, many churches honor their pastor in October, which is known as Pastor Appreciation Month. A poster of the church is a gift the whole congregation can give together.

One person places the order and the group shares the cost. Put the years of service in the caption, and ask members to sign a card. We print each map after you order it and can't promise a delivery date, so order a few weeks before the day you want to give it.

A keepsake of the chapel where you married

A poster of the chapel is a gift for an anniversary or for a couple who live far away now. Put the wedding date in the caption, and choose a frame to match the room it will hang in.

Picking colors

White and Nautical look light and calm. Black and Midnight blue look formal and stand out in a frame. A natural frame suits the warmth of a wood interior.
