About Capricorn
Capricorn is the sign that astrologers link with structure, goals and responsibility. Its people are described as disciplined and patient, with a long view of what they want.
Reliability, discipline and a steady climb toward a goal are the strengths named for Capricorn. The weak side is seriousness: a Capricorn can work too much and rest too little.
Decan and Sun position
In 2026, the Sun is at 1°52′ Capricorn at noon on December 23 in the time zone of Toronto. A decan is a part of 10 degrees, and each sign has three. In the traditional system, a decan adds the character of the sign of the same element that goes with it. The first decan belongs to Capricorn itself, so its traits show most clearly.
