Barcelona Marathon course map poster

The Barcelona Marathon starts on Passeig de Gràcia and finishes at the Arc de Triomf, on Passeig de Lluís Companys. In the first half it passes Casa Batlló, runs close to the Sagrada Família on Carrer de València and Carrer de Mallorca, and passes La Pedrera.

After halfway it reaches the Monument a Colom at the foot of La Rambla, by the port, and passes the Parc de la Ciutadella. Near 33 km comes an out-and-back on Avinguda Diagonal by Torre Glòries, and the line also takes in Port Olímpic and the Parc del Fòrum. In 2026 a record 32,000 runners took part, 63% of them from abroad, and Fotyen Tesfay won the women's race in 2:10:51 on her debut, the second-fastest women's marathon in history.
