New York City Marathon course map poster

The New York City Marathon starts at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island and crosses the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn. From there it runs through Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx, and finishes on West Drive at 67th Street in Central Park.

The race began in Central Park in 1970, and first ran through all five boroughs in 1976. In 2025 it had 59,226 finishers, the largest marathon ever held. Our print draws the 2026 course, from Fourth Avenue in Brooklyn up First Avenue and along Fifth Avenue into the park.
