Create your street map

A housewarming gift of their new streets

A new home comes with new streets: the walk to the station, the corner store, the park nearby. A map poster of the neighborhood turns that first address into something to hang on the wall.

Center the map on their street, add their names or the word home, and pick colors that suit the new place.

Choosing the place

Search their city, then move the map until their street sits near the center of the poster. Zoom in until the streets around the home fill the poster; at close zoom the map also draws the outlines of buildings.

If they would rather not show the exact spot, zoom out to the whole neighborhood. It still reads as their place, without marking the house.

Picking colors for a new home

Light themes such as White and Nautical suit bright rooms and pale walls. Midnight blue and Black stand out on a light wall and look calm in a darker room.

If you do not know their style, choose a print only so they can choose their own frame. A natural frame is another option.

Keeping it private

A house number on a poster is visible to every guest. For privacy, use the neighborhood name or a nearby public place in the subtitle, and the move-in date in the caption.
