Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and astrologers link it with imagination, compassion and dreams. Its people are described as gentle and artistic, with a deep sense of other people's feelings.

In relationships, Pisces is described as devoted and romantic. It is said to need kindness, patience and a partner who gives it room to dream.

The stars behind Pisces
In 2026, the sign Pisces runs from 19 February to 20 March. The Sun starts that time in front of the stars of Aquarius and then crosses into Pisces (12 March).
The signs were named for the constellations about 2000 years ago, when the March equinox was in the stars of Aries. The Earth's axis wobbles slowly, a movement called precession, and it has carried the equinox almost a whole sign along the Sun's path. Today the Sun is in front of Pisces at the March equinox.
