Boston Marathon course map poster
The Boston Marathon starts on Main Street in Hopkinton and follows Route 135 through Ashland, Framingham, Natick and Wellesley. At the Newton fire station it turns right onto Commonwealth Avenue and into the Newton hills, which end at the crest of Heartbreak Hill.
From there it runs along Beacon Street through Brookline, past the CITGO sign in Kenmore Square with a mile to go, then right on Hereford and left on Boylston to finish by the Boston Public Library. The start has been in Hopkinton since 1924, and our print fits the whole point-to-point line, through eight cities and towns, on one map.

Yes. Every course comes in portrait sizes, 12 × 16 in and 18 × 24 in, and in square sizes, 16 × 16 in and 20 × 20 in. When you change the shape, the map moves so the whole course still fits.
We draw each course along OpenStreetMap streets, following the organiser's official course map. It can differ slightly from the measured course, which follows the shortest line a runner can take.
