Which day, time and place to choose

Use the city or town of the temple, for example Salt Lake City for the Salt Lake Temple. A few miles make no visible difference to the sky, so the city is enough to show the right stars.

Sealings are usually in the morning or afternoon, so daylight hid the stars. The map still shows them. It draws the stars that were above the temple at that minute. For a dark sky you can see, use the evening: the ring ceremony, the reception, or the night you left for the honeymoon.

Your appointment confirmation or your invitation has the time of the sealing, and your photographer's timeline has the time of the evening.

If you married civilly first and were sealed later, use the day of the sealing. To mark both days, make a second map for the civil wedding.
