Which date, time and place to choose
Use the city of the hospital, birth center or home where the baby was born, and the minute of birth. The hospital bracelet, the birth record or the parents' first message to the family usually shows it.
A birth in daylight is fine. The map shows the stars that were above the baby at that minute, even though the sun hid them.
For an adoption, use the day and place you met your child, or the night they came home. For a birth abroad, enter the local time there; we use the time zone of the place.
