How to find the date, time and place
Use the town or city where you met: the bar, the party, the campus or the office. The sky changes very little over a few miles, so the nearest city is enough.
For the date, check your first messages, a ticket, a photo or a calendar entry. For the time, choose the moment you remember: when you first spoke, or when one of you said goodnight.
If you met online, choose your first date instead. If you met in two places at once, such as a video call, choose the place where the one receiving the gift was.

Yes. The map shows the stars that were above the place at that minute, even though the sun hid them.
It shows the sky as you see it looking straight up. North is at the top for the northern hemisphere. East and west are swapped compared with a street map.
We print each map to order, so check the preview before you pay. If something is wrong, email us with your order ID as soon as possible. A cancellation depends on whether printing has started.
Yes. We calculate its position and phase for your place and time. It only shows if it was above the horizon that night.
