A first communion star map
A first communion star map shows the stars above the parish on the day a child receives first Holy Communion, at the minute of the Mass. You add the child's name and a message, and we print it on matte art paper.

Which day, time and place to choose
Use the day of the first communion and the city or town of the church. The invitation or the parish program shows the date, and the parish office can tell you the time of the Mass.
Most first communion Masses are in the morning or at midday, so the sun hid the stars. The map still shows them. It draws the stars that were above the church at that minute, whatever the light. If you'd rather show a dark sky, use the evening of the family dinner.
If your parish holds several Masses, use the time of your own child's. The print is for them, so it should show their Mass, not the party a week later.

We print each map after you order it, so order a few weeks before the Mass if you want to hand it over on the day. We can't promise a delivery date, and your order page shows the status and tracking when it's available.
If the Mass is close, show the preview from the editor on your phone, or print it for a card, and tell the child their print is on its way.

Ask the parish office or check the program. If you can't find it, choose the time you think is closest. The sky turns about 15 degrees each hour, so a small difference won't change how the print looks.

Yes. The title holds up to 80 characters, so there's room for the child's name. The map prints the place name and date below, so add the parish name to the message.
